Alecia comes to our company more than 25 years of Human Resources experience. She is passionate about providing Human Resources programs that enhance organizational performance by leading compensation strategies, employee engagement & satisfaction, and improved retention.

Alecia started her career with The New York Public Library System in New York City. In 2001, she relocated to Atlanta, GA, and served in various Human Resources leadership roles to include Benefits Manager and Director of Total Rewards & HRIS for DeKalb Regional Health System. She played integral part of restructuring of Dekalb Medical 403b plan, resulting in 3.5 million saving for the company. Most recently, she served as the Director of Human Resources for Emory Healthcare where she led the Joint Commission Compliance unit with the local county as well Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Alecia has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College, City University of New York, and a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree through Walden University, with a concentration in Human Resources Management.

Alecia resides in Dacula, Georgia, where she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and listening to music. Alecia also enjoys mentoring and coaching college students in preparation to join the workforce.

Jude fell in love with the hospitality industry while serving tables at a hometown diner through high school. That experience influenced her decision to make a career in hospitality as she left home to obtain a BS in HRIM. During her five years of hotel operations and sales, she had the opportunity to observe the impact HR has on the employee experience. She wanted to make a difference! As a result, she earned a master’s degree in HR and took on her first property Director of Human Resources role in 1998. The bulk of her career progression was spent with Marriott International from DHR at urban, suburban, airport, resort, and then to multi-location full-service hotel HR leadership. Atrium Hospitality presented an opportunity in January 2019 allowing her to support the HR hotel operations in our central region. During her tenure with Atrium, she led the talent acquisition efforts through the pandemic and in May 2022 transitioned to VP HR Operations where she has the honor to positively influence the employee experience and lead HR initiatives supporting 43 locations in the eastern and midwest states.

As the Vice President of Corporate Human Resources, Leadership & Development, LaToya assists in governing and advising the company’s corporate operations. In addition, she leads the design, development, and implementation of the organizational programs as well as the sustainable learning solutions. .

LaToya began her career in hospitality as a Human Resources Generalist for the Kessler Collection in Orlando, FL. She has also served as a Human Resources Business Partner for U.S. Bank. In her previous roles, she piloted and executed many core HR programs. These programs include leadership development, organizational change initiatives, performance management, and systematized recruitment. Furthermore, she played a major role in employee relations. She has also served as Director of Human Resources Services with Hospitality Venture Management Group. She was responsible for steering and regulating the design and execution of key HR services and programs. An example of such programs include executing the comprehensive training and development program for General Managers. Additionally, she led the company’s performance management program along with HR information and hiring systems. .

LaToya earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a specialization in Computer Information Science from the University of Florida. She is also a Certified Hospitality Trainer with the American Hotel & Lodging Association. She is certified to facilitate Covey's 7 Habits for Manager program and Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architect Global Competency Framework. Finally, LaToya is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. where she mentors high school age girls though the sorority’s Delta G.E.M.S (Growing & Empowering Myself Successfully) program.

Goldberg has led global talent initiatives for Fortune 500 companies including Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Republic Services, and MGM Resorts International. He has been responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of talent programs and initiatives. These efforts have resulted in ongoing talent results and recognition including BusinessWeek’s “Best places to launch a career”, CollegeRecruiter.com’s top employer lists Fortune’s Best Places to Work, and others.

Active with the education community, Goldberg sat on the Board of International CHRIE, an association of Hospitality Educators, as well as The Culinary Academy, an Employer, and Organized Labor partnership, focused on reducing poverty and eliminating unemployment by providing vocational and job-readiness training to youth, adults, and displaced workers.

He has also served as an executive adviser to HR technology companies and recruitment associations and shares his talent strategies through publications or speaking opportunities including, the Human Capital Institute, Recruiting News Network, HR Tech, Aberdeen, ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives) annual conference, HRO Today, Talent Management Magazine and ERE recruitment conferences.

“It’s all about Talent”, is a frequent statement you will hear from him. Goldberg leverages his operations background and focuses on candidate experience and employee engagement to initiate scalable talent programs that enhance a company’s overall employment brand and employee value proposition.

Greg Mena is Vice President Accounting-Capital Finance and is responsible for capital cash forecasting, capital internal controls, and draw submissions for Atrium Hospitality. Greg joined Atrium in February 2017 and has over 25 years of experience in the accounting/finance field. Prior to joining Atrium, Greg was CFO for Genoa Construction and spent nine years as Controller/Officer at Coro Realty Advisors/JH Holdings Inc.. He started his hospitality development career with Homestead Village Guest Studios during its growth phase from 20 hotels to 110 new ground up construction hotels. Greg is an industry leader and strong communicator who focuses his efforts on providing world-class customer service.

Olivier started his hospitality career working in operations at various hotels in Paris and Boston before earning a Master’s in Hotel Management. After graduation, he spent four years with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, working out of the London, Paris and Miami offices. He then joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ Hospitality and Leisure Advisory practice in Miami, focusing on mixed-use luxury resort development throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and Southeastern United States. In 2008, he relocated to Chicago and spent 12 years implementing and then overseeing Hyatt Hotels’ Global Feasibility function. In 2020 he took the role of Hotels Advisory leader for CBRE, overseeing the Midwest region, and assisted with the creation of CBRE’s National Hotel Property Tax practice. He joined Atrium Hospitality in 2022.

Rakesh “Rocky” Gupta is the Vice President of Information Technology. He is responsible for all corporate and property technology strategy and execution for Atrium Hospitality. Prior to joining Atrium, Rocky spent over 20 years holding senior technology management positions at various multinational companies in the financial, travel and waste management companies like Elavon, Worldpay, Travelport and Advanced Disposal. He and his wife are empty nesters. Their daughter is pursuing a Medical Masters degree as part of the Medical Scholars Program at Rutgers University and their son is a sophomore at UGA pursuing a degree in Computer Science. In his spare time, Rocky enjoys traveling, reading and experimental cooking.

Ron is Atrium Hospitality’s Vice President, Finance and Accounting. He has more than 30 years of Finance and Accounting leadership experience with extensive experience in accounting, valuation, fp&a, and system/process transformations across the hospitality and student housing fields. He started his career as a CPA with PKF, then spent nine years with Hilton Worldwide. He later served as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) for seven years, followed by a short stop in Georgia Tech’s Department of Housing. Most recently, Ron was Vice President of Finance, Hotels and Restaurants for Legacy Ventures for 9 years. Ron holds a BS in Accounting from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business where he graduated Cum Laude. Ron and his wife Carrie-Leigh reside in Milton, Georgia and they have two adult children, Anderson and Riley. In his leisure time, Ron enjoys mountain biking, trail running, camping, and trying new craft beers.

With 32 years of hospitality experience, Brian builds, manages, and analyzes all of Atrium Hospitality’s performance indicators as well as coordinates and manages the budget/forecasting process. He directs all our permanent Task Force team members, providing a central point of contact to ensure we have the right talent in the right place at the right time. Brian also oversees online reputation management (ORM) for Atrium-managed hotels, which is a natural fit as an operational metric. Previously, Brian was Regional Vice President of Finance for the company, where he monitored property compliance and efficiencies and collaborated with Vice Presidents of Operations and General Managers in continually improving profitability through cost control, driving topline revenue, and process improvements.

Larry is the VP of Operations for Atrium Hospitality’s east region. Over the course of three decades, Cooper has managed hotels and resorts spanning diverse geographic locations, including Alaska, Texas and the Caribbean, among others. He served as general manager at Atrium’s World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine, Florida and the Embassy Suites by Hilton Rogers, Arkansas. He has also served as Regional Director of Operations for Atrium, overseeing four hotels with 846 keys in Arkansas. When he is not working, he loves cycling, running in marathons, golfing, the beach and doing home improvement projects.

Lars began his hospitality career at a small boutique hotel on the outskirts of Frankfurt, Germany, where he gained a true passion for the hospitality industry. It was always Lars’ dream to one day work in the United States. After graduating from the School of Hospitality Obertshausen with a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management, Lars made that dream come true by completing a Marriott Management trainee program in Augusta, GA. During his nearly 20 years of hotel operations experience, Lars has worked with brands such as Marriott, IHG and Hilton. Lars is a firm believer that a positive work culture is the key to success. This mentality has proven to be successful, earning Lars several accolades with our company to include 2020 Operator of the Year.

Marc Taft is responsible for implementing a F&B platform that focuses on product development and innovation to maximize ROI. Through delivering impactful programs, he aims to broaden Atrium’s ability to remain a forward-thinking organization as well as identify and support the development of F&B talent by providingleadership, oversight and direction on F&B concept development. He serves on Marriot’s Food & Beverage Advisory Board, Best Chefs America Advisory Board and was appointed by the Governor to represent the Georgia Department of Agriculture as a Georgia Grown Executive Chef. He brings over 36 years of experience as an Innovative hospitality leader who has overseen over 100 new hotel/restaurant openings and uses an owner mentality to drive top line revenues to achieve bottom line results.

Marc joined Atrium in 2021 after working for Davidson Hospitality/Davidson Restaurant Group as Vice President of Food & Beverage, leading 173 restaurants and bars exceeding $350 million in revenue. Prior to his role at Davidson, Marc spent 8 years leading his own hospitality company, Southern Fried Hospitality, owning/operating restaurants in Georgia and Alabama. In addition, he did concept development and management consulting for several large hotel and restaurant companies. Marc has also worked as Senior Director of Openings, Acquisitions and Transitions / Senior Director of West Coast Operations for The ONE Group, Corporate Director of F&B for First Hospitality Group, Corporate Director of Restaurant Operations for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Corporate Chef for Rainforest Café and Corporate Director of Concept and Franchise Development for Al Copeland Investments.

Marc is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He resides in Alpharetta with his partner Chloe and son Eli.

Peter Komar is VP of Operations and is responsible for developing and implementing short-term, intermediate and long-term strategies to improve the financial performance and value of the IHG brand properties, the independent hotels, and the select service portfolio. He is also responsible for the continuing improvement in the hotels relative to guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and product quality.

Prior to joining Atrium, Peter worked for five years with TPG Hospitality as General Manager at two locations and was an Area Managing Director and General Manager with Lodgian Hotels for 12 years. He also worked for Winegardner & Hammons for 18 years in various roles before assuming a General Manager’s position. Peter’s experience includes hotel management takeovers, new hotel openings, and brand conversions in all markets, including downtown/convention, airport, and resort hotels.

Steve joined Atrium Hospitality in 2018 as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Renaissance Glendale. Prior to joining Atrium Hospitality he was with Marriott International in various roles within operations and sales to include General Manager of Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn, Regional Director of TownePlace Suites, and Area Sales Leader for the Chicago downtown market. He was opening Director of Sales at the Marriott Marquis Chicago.

Michael Feldman has more than 30 years of hotel experience with over 25 years in a revenue generating position. More than 20 years of that time was spent at Hyatt where Feldman was one of the company’s original regional directors of revenue management when the discipline was formalized at Hyatt in 2004. For 10 years he supported the revenue management, pricing and distribution strategy for hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. In April 2014, Feldman became a regional vice president of sales & marketing for Hyatt. In his most recent assignment, Feldman supported 30 hotels generating more than $1.5 billion in top line revenue.

Michael graduated from the University of Houston with a BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Feldman’s first hotel job was as an unpaid intern in human resources at the Westin Hotel Galleria Dallas. About a month into the internship, he had a chance to work at the front desk and has never regretted his decision to work in the hotel business.

Today, Michael lives in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. Michael loves to travel the world; some of his favorite cities include London, Barcelona and Bangkok. His all-time favorite place to travel is to visit his parents in Las Vegas where he also makes time for Three Card Poker and Blackjack. While he has a strong love of numbers, he admits that he is lousy at counting cards. When he’s not working or traveling, tennis, swimming, binge-watching TV shows and entertaining friends and family keep him busy.

Michael’s most favorite activity is making people laugh and caring for them so they can be their best.

Gissell leads the sales organization’s strategic and tactical initiatives. She helps the sales team focus on optimizing financial results, particularly in group, negotiated transient and catering.

Gissell started her career in sales as a convention service manager and work her way up in hotels through catering and group sales, Director of Sales & Marketing and in Customer Contact Centers. She created the first centralized inbound RFP team for Starwood Hotels (Starwood Meetings Line), which she took from pilot stage into a $50M inbound operation. Prior to joining Atrium Hospitality, she served in area and regional roles leading sales teams with Starwood Hotels and TPG Hospitality. And held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Colwen Hotels where she led the sales function for the company.

Gissell is an active member in the industry, serving on the Sales Advisory Board at HSMAI. In 2020, she was named HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales, Marketing and Revenue Optimization. She also leads the Diversity and Inclusion Collective resource group at Atrium Hospitality.

Gissell holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Business Administration from Dominican Republic (PUCMM), meeting management certification (CMP), a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) certification from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Harvard University.

Michael started his career bar backing and waiting on tables in several restaurants prior to earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University. After graduating, Michael began working in Commercial Real Estate for Hines as a building engineer. Michael spent almost two decades working for Hines in the southeast region working his way up to a Senior Engineering Manager providing portfolio capital, engineering, and project support. Michael led many large complex capital projects and as a result many of his properties achieved Energy Star and LEED certifications. During his commercial real estate career Michael went on to earn a MBA from Kennesaw State University, a LEED O+M Certification, and became a Certified Energy Manager. Michael joined Atrium Hospitality in 2022 as the Director of Energy Management where he was able to implement many energy and water saving projects as well as support sustainability initiatives. Michael was promoted in late 2022 to help lead the capital team and provide facilities support.

Mark DeLoach has been practicing law for 17 years. Mark began his legal practice for the firm Alston & Bird in Atlanta, GA. After several years he made the move to in-house corporate counsel where he has worked in the restaurant, airline, and hospitalities industries. Mark began working for Atrium Hospitality in 2016. In his role as Assistant General Counsel, he provides legal advice and counsel to the organization on a wide variety of matters including labor & employment, operation and sales contracts, and compliance issues. Mark graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University Law School where he served as a Managing Editor of the Law Review and member of Vanderbilt Moot Court Board.

After graduating from the University of Georgia, Renee spent the majority of her career on the Risk Management side of the hospitality industry. She has worked for Marriott, IHG and on the insurance broker and carrier sides of the business. Atrium Hospitality is a great fit to combine her professional experience with personal passions.

Patrick earned his law degree from Georgia State University in 2008. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and served on both Law Review and Moot Court. As a lawyer, Patrick has represented retailers, school districts, and airlines. Patrick joined Atrium Hospitality in 2019. He advises the company on labor & employment issues, working closely with the HR team and operational leaders. Specifically, Patrick has been on point to guide employment decisions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, implement COVID-19 regulations concerning employment (creating a safe workplace for Associates), manage employment litigation, oversee government investigations, create employment policies and practices, and direct employment decisions. Patrick resides in the north-Atlanta suburbs, where he, his wife, and four kids could probably star in a reality TV show. But when not at work or a kid’s sporting event, Patrick enjoys golf, the Atlanta Falcons, and craft beer.
